Sport Leaders Programme

The Elite Sports Leaders programme gives an early insight to children on what it means to be a leader. Working in small teams the children will cover 6 sports coaching disciplines such as: football, basketball and tennis each with a focused skill to coach to the rest of the group. They will learn how to set up and lead a simple sports coaching session, what leadership characteristics may be required, whilst working through a variety of tried and tested warm up, skills and team games. With simple diagrams and aids included this is a great first step into sports coaching. 

Delivered by: 10 - 11 year olds (some teacher or coach assistance may be required).

Duration: 6 x 30 minute lunch time sessions

Focus: Leadership, confidence and self esteem

Target age: 4 - 11 year olds
